Chute Vertical Mixers for mixing medium to
large batches of granules and powder
The units are built in strong carbon steel, epoxy coated outside and brush finished inside.
The unit is bolted to the floor by 4 heavy-duty floor mounts, ideally suited for Vertical Mixing.
The basic construction and operation is the same for all units up to the 1000 litre size. The 1000 litre units are not supplied with internal pipes as although this speeds up the mixing process,cleaning is more difficult and prolonged. The 1000 litre unit is generally used for larger production batches changed on a regular basis. The mixer is hinged in 2 parts to allow easier access for cleaning the inside. A larger hopper is mounted at a convenient height for easy discharge of the material to be mixed.
The ratio of mix can be adjusted by means of a Butterfly Valve installed on the unit.

Material can be removed from the mixer by means of a side discharge pipe placed at a height of 800 mm. This permits the discharge of the mixed material into most standard size container bins currently available on the market. The optional addition of a distribution valve allows material to be taken from the mixers by means of a hopper loader.
